Dauphin Island, AL to Pensacola, FL

What a great day! Flat roads, a tailwind and we crossed into Florida! We left the condos this morning at 7:30 and all rode to the other side of the Island to catch the ferry over to Fort Morgan. It was a 4.5 mile ride across the bay. Once on the other side we unloaded and rode off with a nice tailwind to push us the rest of the miles to finish off our 62 mile day. The pedaling was easy and the view as we rode was awesome. We stopped at the famous spring break bar Flora-bama to have an iced adult beverage and lunch. Shortly after that we crossed into Florida. Our last state we will have to cross before we reach our destination 8 days from now. Shelli and I took goofy pictures along the route. We arrived in Pensacola, FL at 1:30. We went to the bike shops trying to find a sensor for my odometer. We finally found one at the Trek Store. We ate supper downtown at the Tin Cow. They had very good food!
