Bastrop, TX to La Grange, TX

What a Gorgeous ride today! Our 45 mile ride started at 8:00 this morning from the back of the Hampton Inn in Bastrop. The winds were light and the temperature was cool. We rode through 16 miles of parks. The Bastrop State Park was first. The next park was Buescher Park. Both were beautiful! There were some steep but short hills in both parks. We then rode toward La Grange. Somewhere in between these towns I saw the first pumping unit that I have seen in Texas. I thought that I would have seen a lot by now. We still have 4 days left in Texas so maybe they are further east. I arrived in the town of La Grange at 11:30. Trudy, Shelli and I ate lunch downtown before heading to the hotel.
