Wickenburg,AZ to Mesa, AZ

This morning I got up at 4:30 so my dad could drive me back to the hotel in Wickenburg. I had to be there by 6 a.m. I met up with the group to leave Mesa by 7. It was a cold 47 degrees this morning. My fingers were freezing cold as we rode down hill out of Wickenburg at a 20-22 mph pace. We rode 26 miles to Surprise where our first SAG stop was located. We then rode another 20 miles through low traffic streets. In Peoria we started riding on a bike trail. This was the most pleasant ride yet!
We stopped for lunch in Tempe, AZ with only 9 miles left to go. When we went to leave I noticed my rear tire was low. I had a slow leak. I pumped it up and headed towards the hotel. We arrived at 2:30. Once there I took the tire off and found the problem It was a little wire from a radial tire that had stuck in my tire.
The weather was 70 degrees and perfect weather for riding 82 miles.
I am leaving the group tonight to spend my day off with Dennis and the Herbst family.
