Salome, AZ to Wickenburg, AZ

We ate breakfast at a little restaurant by the hotel in Salome.  From the outside it looks like it is an unused building but inside it was adorably decorated and the food was delicious!
We left Salome at 8:15. The road was flat and we pedaled along at 18 mph for the first 22 miles. We stopped at the first SAG stop to get some water. At 30 miles we stopped at the Coyote Cafe for some ice cold lemonade. The wind was picking up. The road continued with a slight incline until about mile 45.  There were a few more rolling hills and then a decline into Wickenburg.  As I was rolling in to town who do I see getting ready to pull out on to highway 60.................Connie Lohof!!! What a welcoming sight! A big thank you to Connie, Marge, Margaret and Marilyn Askin for meeting me at the hotel. Always nice to see familiar faces!
I was happy to see Dennis and my dad arrive at the hotel to pick me up! I got to spend the evening with Dennis, dad and Sharon in Surprize, AZ.
